Capturing those first couple weeks of your newborn’s life is so important. Babies change so much even in just a few days, and the way they curl up so perfectly into angelic little poses and drift into sleep just can’t be replicated when they’re older. You’ll never regret a newborn photo session!

Newborn photo sessions are held in my home studio in Lexington, IL when babies are between one and three weeks old. I have an extensive collection of adorable, perfectly-sized props that all families who book a newborn photo session have access to. Sessions are up to 3 hours in length to accommodate feedings, diaper changes, and soothing. Parents and siblings are welcome to join in for photos.

Studio milestone sessions are perfect for capturing all the big milestones in baby’s first year (tummy time, sitting up, standing, first birthday/cake smash) but big kids up to age 10 are also welcome for studio sessions. Sessions are 45-60 minutes long and include multiple backdrops to choose from and the option to use any of the cute little outfits in my client closet for babies in sizes up to 18 months. Studio milestone sessions are held in my home studio in Lexington, IL.

Studio milestone sessions are available year round, but some families opt for an outdoor family session in lieu of a studio session during warmer months.

Outdoor family sessions are typically held at parks and nature areas in and around Bloomington/Normal and Lexington and always within the two hours leading up to sunset for the best warm lighting. I offer outdoor sessions from late April or early May (weather dependent) to early November.

Family sessions are a combination of posed “smile-for-the camera” shots and playful interaction between families and siblings.
